1. Chime Compatibility for Video Doorbell E340:
   The Video Doorbell E340 can connect with your existing chime, eufy HomeBase S280, HomeBase S380, MiniBase Chime (T8023), as well as Alexa and Google Voice Assistant. However, it is not compatible with the original eufy Wi-Fi Chime (T8020), eufy Chime (T8740/T8742), or Apple HomeKit.

2. Apple HomeKit Support for Video Doorbell E340:
   Currently, the Video Doorbell E340 does not support Apple HomeKit. It is designed to work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

3. Pre-Record Functionality:
   Yes, the Video Doorbell E340 will be compatible with the pre-record function when powered constantly with a 16-24V, 30VA transformer. This feature is expected to be available starting in early December 2023. Please note, an existing chime must be bypassed for this functionality.

4. Wi-Fi Support & Battery Usage:
   The Video Doorbell E340 only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The doorbell will need to be powered by a battery, which must remain installed even when using wired mode.
